This Privacy Policy explains how UBQTS, LLC d.b.a. Black Swan Studio (“BlackSwan”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit blckswnstd.com (the “Site”), request a quote, or order from us. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need to make and deliver your order, and we never sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Quote requests: name, email, phone/WhatsApp number (optional), business or team name (optional), order details, text to be stitched, sizes, dates, and any artwork, logo or photo you upload.
• Email sign-up: your email address.
• Orders: shipping address and order history. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not receive or store your full card number.
• Messages: anything you send us by email, WhatsApp or social media.

Information collected automatically

• Basic technical data (IP address, browser, device, pages visited) recorded by our web host for security and reliability.
• If enabled, analytics and advertising tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel) use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits and the performance of our ads, such as whether a visitor later requested a quote.
• We store a small note in your browser (local storage) so the email pop-up only appears once.

2. How we use your information

• To prepare quotes and proofs, make and ship your order, and contact you about it.
• To send seasonal offers and new designs, only if you opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can simply reply “unsubscribe”.
• To understand how the Site is used and improve it and our advertising.
• To prevent spam and fraud, and to meet legal and tax obligations.

3. Your artwork and photos

Artwork you upload is used only to create your order and is kept so you can reorder. We will not publish photos of your custom order, especially items with children’s names, without your permission.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:

• Website hosting and email (Hostinger)
• Payment processors (for example Square, Stripe or PayPal)
• Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx)
• Email marketing and analytics/advertising providers (for example Google, Meta, TikTok), if used

We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising except through the pixels described above, which you can opt out of (see section 6).

5. How long we keep it

We keep quote and order records for as long as needed to serve you and meet tax and accounting requirements (generally up to 7 years). Unused quote requests and uploads may be deleted sooner. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

6. Your choices and rights

• Email: unsubscribe any time using the link in our emails.
• Cookies and ads: you can block or delete cookies in your browser, use Google’s opt-out tools at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and adjust ad preferences in your Meta and TikTok account settings.
• Access, correction, deletion: email us and we will respond within 45 days. Depending on where you live (including under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal data, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to appeal our decision. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

7. Security

The Site uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Form submissions and uploads are stored in a private, non-public location on our server, and access is limited to us. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Children

Many of our products are for children, but the Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. A child’s name provided by a parent or guardian for embroidery is used only to make that order.
